Perimeter School is a unique K- 8 Christian educational community in northern Atlanta that has been partnering with churched families for over 25 years. At Perimeter School, we are compelled and excited to provide a broad and enriching curriculum and program – engaging both mind and heart. Creative teachers, small classes, and a biblical  foundation complement a distinctive, time-tested, and relevant application of a covenant school philosophy, influenced by the ideas of Charlotte Mason and other mentors. Our school is GAC accredited,  a ministry of Perimeter Church (PCA), and a member of ChildLight Schools Association.

As we confirm a love of learning in every student, our commitment to preserving childhood is woven into the fabric of our schedule; providing time and space for exploration. As we study a beautiful painting, act out a Shakespeare play, or observe a maple leaf turning, innate interest is ignited in children as persons created in His image.

 Our broad curriculum includes an array of subjects and programs to engage and enrich, including both inspirational and instructional subjects like Bible, PE, the Arts, math, history, science, literature and nature study, all of which encourage exploration and discovery beyond facts and figures. Our love for story found in the living books of all ages is a keystone of our pursuit of knowledge.

 On the field, the “Perimeter Eagles” participate in middle school Varsity and JV sports throughout the year; each sport culminating in a NAML championship. We also offer an exciting adventure program for after-school hours in the early grades, as well as clubs and enrichment activities for students in upper grades. 

 Perimeter School places unprecedented emphasis on intentional parental participation in education. In the early grades, parents are actual teachers in the classroom on Fridays, forming lasting friendships between parents and students alike. This involvement continues into the upper grades as families grow close through serving together for community-wide service projects, field trips, and fundraisers.

This website is the source for all vital news, calendars, and events happening within our school. Additionally, we link from our website to ParentsWeb, our secure parent portal, allowing easy access between parents and school staff and teachers, providing up-to-date classroom calendars, grades, lesson plans, and progress reports.

Aside from this website, we keep in touch through our weekly online publication “The Fourth Wall”. Each week brings an insightful article written by faculty leadership as well as pertinent announcements. “The Fourth Wall” will give you a picture of life inside our covenant community. Take a look!
