Frequently Asked Questions

Our school begins with Kindergarten and continues through 8th grade (there are no pre-school classes).

Kindergarten and Pre-First are held half-days, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. Grades 1 and 2 are half-day sessions, Monday through Friday. Grade 3 is a transitional year with students attending Monday and Friday from 8:25 AM - Noon and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:25 AM - 3:10 PM.  Grades 4 - 8 are full days from 8:25 AM - 3:10 PM.

All parents of applicants must be Perimeter Church members or members (in good standing) of an evangelical, Bible-believing Church.

Perimeter School is unable to accommodate international students who require I-20 forms or parents and students who lack fluency in English.  Parents who lack fluency will need to check with the Admissions Department to determine compatability, as parents are required to teach and supervise students in coherent use of English.

The first step in the application process for Perimeter School is for parents to attend an "Investigating Perimeter School" (IPS) class. This class is a requirement for both parents (or legal guardians) in order to receive an application. You will learn more about Perimeter School and the application process and may obtain information in how to access an application at that time. These classes will be offered in November, January and February of the current school year. Further details on this class are available through the menu item "RSVP for Investigating Perimeter School class".

All parents of applicants are REQUIRED to listen to the school philosophy CD and to read the book When Children Love to Learn (edited by Elaine Cooper) BEFORE submitting an application.

Students will be scheduled for testing after the application has been received. Upon successful completion of testing, a background check link will be emailed to you from our Operations Manager, Leah Sowell.  Please complete and submit. For the last step of this process, the Admissions Committee will schedule an interview with the parents and the student applicant. (Not all who apply will receive an interview. This will be determined by the Admissions Committee.)

Applications for fall admission can be accepted as early as November 1 for the following school year.

Perimeter Church members and Perimeter School siblings have priority in enrollment. The deadline for priority enrollment is the last Friday in January. The child must be five years old by August 1 to begin Kindergarten.

Parents are to be in agreement with all points contained in the Parents’ Contract, Discipline Policy, Perimeter Church’s Abortion Position, and Doctrinal Standard of the Covenant School. Click here to view our curriculum overview.

Visitation to classrooms will begin in November and are scheduled approximately twice a month. If you are interested in scheduling a Classroom Visitation, go to the menu item "Schedule a Classroom Visit" or call the Admissions Office.
