Bridge Program

A student’s middle school years are a wonderful training ground to develop skills and strategies for both learning and life. The Bridge Program at Perimeter School is committed to helping your student learn study and self-advocacy skills to take on the responsibility for his/her own learning. Through the introduction of specific study and executive functioning skills, guided practice, and close accountability, our goal is for students to discover strategies to self-manage their own learning. When students can manage their time, work efficiently to complete their studies, and experience both success and failure, they are more equipped and confident to tackle the academic challenges that await them in high school and beyond.

The Bridge Program includes:

  • Study Skills Classes (4-5 classes per week; 35 - 55 minutes each) Including:

The Bridge Program includes an analysis of Psycho-educational testing and the development of an Individualized Student Support Plan (SSP) to outline student accommodations.

Our daughter has thrived in the Bridge Program. She feels heard and empowered to do her best. We cannot thank her Bridge teachers enough for giving her confidence and equipping her to face the academic world with the tools she needs.
