Cups of Conversation
Please join Sarah Barber, Perimeter School mom and Charlotte Mason educator, along with Rebecca Little, lower elementary principal, for an opportunity for moms of K - 5th grade students in the Perimeter School community to engage in intentional conversations related to the school's culture, worldview and curriculum. We will meet six times this semester to have the opportunity to grow deeper in our understanding of raising children with a counter-cultural mindset. This group is intended to be an informal forum where we can gather together as a like-minded community and encourage each other along the way. Cups of Conversation will meet from 8:30 - 10:00 AM in the Adventure Room. It will be open to 10 moms, with a hope that you will commit to all six meetings. Dates of our meetings are November 15th, and November 29th. Please contact Sarah Barber or Rebecca Little with any questions. Click here to register.
Age of Opportunity Book Study
Are you a middle school mom looking for fellowship, encouragement, and equipping? Please join us as we study Paul Tripp's powerful book, Age of Opportunity. Tripp writes that adolescence "are the years of penetrating questions, the years of wonderful discussions never before possible. These are the years of failure and struggle that put a teen's true heart on the table. These are the years of daily ministry and of great opportunity [for parents and teachers]" (p19). All middle school moms are welcome to join us as we study this book together on Thursday mornings from 8:30 - 9:30 AM in the middle school lunch room. Books are available for purchase in the Perimeter Church Bookstore. Questions? Contact Jana Mock.
