Things New Families Need to Know and Do

Get Set Up On ParentsWeb

ParentsWeb will prove to be a great resource for you this year.  Full instructions for accessing ParentsWeb are found on the ParentsWeb page.

Purchase Pre-packaged School Supply Kits

To see the supplies required for your student's upcoming school year, please visit the School Supplies page to see what items you will need to purchase.  Each year, the 8th graders have a fundraiser selling pre-packed kits to raise funds for their Washington, DC class trip.  If you would like to take advantage of this very convenient method of school supply shopping, visit www.epipacks.com (our school code is PER014) and order your kit.  The deadline for ordering is June 25th in order to ensure your kits arrive at the school in early August!

Purchase Dress Code Items

Visit the Standardized Dress Code page to see what items you will need to purchase.  The vendors and their associated school codes are also listed on this page.  For rising 3rd - 8th grade, you will need to purchase PE clothing using our School Webstore or at the Used Uniform Sale.  Please do not hesitate to ask another school family which items of the dress code the students tend to wear.   This obviously is more important in the later grades (i.e. not too many knee length hunter plaid skorts on 8th grade girls - you get the idea!)

Additionally there is a Uniform Consignment Sale on Thursday, August 10th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in Midtown Auditorium.  Great deals can be found at this event AND your purchases will support our school.

Required Summer Reading

Students in 2nd - 8th grades have required summer reading assignments. Please click here to find more information.

Fall Ballet Classes

Registration is now open for fall Ballet classes with an early bird registration discount until May 15th. For PCS students attending a 12:45 pm class, we have regular moms who pick up the dancers from school and care for them until ballet class starts. For details and to register please click here.

Find Other Perimeter School Families Living Near You

We will have the Family Directory by Subdivision available for download in early summer on ParentsWeb.
