Dramatic Arts

The Drama Program of Perimeter School endeavors to enable children to grow in their ability, awareness and expression of creativity through curricular and extracurricular theater-based opportunities. Through this exposure, they learn teamwork, responsibility, self-confidence  and how to use and develop their God-given theatrical gifts and skills.

Middle school students may take Drama as an elective course and often participate in local and regional theater conferences.  Perimeter School is a member of The Educational Theater Association and hosts a Junior Thespians International Honor Society Troupe.

Fourth through eighth grade students are invited to audition for the extracurricular school productions. In recent years we have produced plays and musicals such as The Wind in the Willows, The Sound of Music, Willy Wonka Jr, Cheaper by the Dozen, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Music Man, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer  (the Broadway musical version), among others.
