Way to go, girls! . 2️⃣ Our boys finished first and ladies finishes third in our first home track meet of the season resulting in a FIRST PLACE OVERALL COMBINED! Mondays are full of questions about weekend events, family updates, and what we’ve been learning! . This morning, we peeked into a classroom and heard the sweetest voices sharing stories.
Monday, our students took to serve @friendsofrefugees, local fire departments, and so many other @perimeteratl partners. . While the students had fun painting wheel borrows, beautifying a community garden, assembling goodie bags, playing with young children, and writing encouraging notes, they also experienced hard work as they gave of themselves. . They were the aroma of Christ in and around our community. . Sometimes picking up trash or listening to the stories of others (including the pictured local police officer with the most incredible life story) may seem small, but “truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you did for me.” -Matt 25:40
Thanks to the @atlantaaudubonsociety for coming to share your knowledge and passion with our inquisitive 2nd graders. . From our nature walk to the bird watching it was amazing to see how God designed this world and everything in it for His glory.
