Elementary CLASSROOM ACCOMMODATIONS

Classroom Support Program includes:

  • Development of a Student Profile with Accommodations

  • Analysis of Psycho-educational Testing (Testing is required for accommodations in the support program. Analysis includes recommendations and a meeting if desired.)

 

Accommodations will be determined by Psycho-educational testing, which is required to receive accommodations in grades K-5. Psycho-educational testing must be updated every 3 years.

 

Accommodations may include:

  • Preferential Seating

  • Note Buddy

  • Extended Test Time

  • Iowa Testing Accommodations (Grade 5)

  • Learning Ally

  • Strategies for Sensory, Visual, and Auditory Processing (enlarging tests, chunking)
