Fall Production Announced
We are happy to announce that the fall play will be Cheaper by the Dozen, dramatized by Christopher Sergel from the book by Frank B. Gilbreth and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, two of the dozen children. We are excited about this play, set in the 1920's/1930's, because of the many strong acting roles for the 16 characters!
For those planning to audition, be advised that the movie with Steve Martin is not at all similar to the script, and the old black and white movie is also not a good source for inspiration.
SPRING MUSICAL ANNOUNCED
We are also pleased to announce that our musical for the 2019 - 2020 school year is Beauty and the Beast Jr!
For those planning to audition, the script for Beauty and the Beast Jr. is very similar to the movie, so you may wish to watch it for inspiration. However, don’t worry about copying the movie exactly. Please feel free to make your character your own!

Opportunities for drama students - THE INTERNATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY
The International Thespian Society is the honor society for middle and secondary school theater students. It is open to all students involved in the theater arts. Eligibility is gained by performing and working in all areas of theatre at the local school. The International Organization was established in 1929 and named after Thespis, the Greek actor who, according to legend, was the first actor. We are honored to have a chapter at Perimeter School.
