Perimeter School Students at the Junior Thespian Conference on February 23, 2019

Fall Production Announced

We are happy to announce that the fall play will be Cheaper by the Dozen, dramatized by Christopher Sergel from the book by Frank B. Gilbreth and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, two of the dozen children. We are excited about this play, set in the 1920's/1930's, because of the many strong acting roles for the 16 characters!

For those planning to audition, be advised that the movie with Steve Martin is not at all similar to the script, and the old black and white movie is also not a good source for inspiration.

SPRING MUSICAL ANNOUNCED

We are also pleased to announce that our musical for the 2019 - 2020 school year is Beauty and the Beast Jr!

For those planning to audition, the script for Beauty and the Beast Jr. is very similar to the movie, so you may wish to watch it for inspiration. However, don’t worry about copying the movie exactly. Please feel free to make your character your own!

Audition Workshop - August 9th - 10:00 - 11:30 AM

We will hold an audition workshop for students in grades 5-8 on August 9th from 10:00 - 11:30 AM during the Used Uniform Sale and Teacher Meet and Greet. Fourth grade students are invited to audition, but their audition will be formatted differently.

Auditions for both the fall production and spring musicaL - week of August 19th

Auditions will be held on August 19th for grade 4 students and August 20th - 21st for grades 5-8. Call backs may be on Thursday, August 22nd or Friday, August 23rd. Signups will be open soon, and auditions will be held in the same format as last year.
