Perimeter school Covenant Fund

Your yearly gift to the Covenant Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of educating a student. These critical gifts keep tuition affordable, offsetting the operating budget and encouraging a diverse student body.

Your support of the Covenant Fund directly impacts the lives of our covenant community - our students, families, and faculty. We believe that being a part of a covenant community involves being all in together, valuing 100% participation in the Covenant Fund. We want to encourage EVERY FAMILY to participate EVERY YEAR - and EVERY GIFT counts - regardless of size.

Thank you for your consideration and generosity toward the covenant family of Perimeter School.

Q: What is the Covenant Fund?

A: The Covenant Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of educating a student at Perimeter School. Tuition covers most of our expenses. However, the balance of our needed income comes from the Covenant Fund.

Q: Where does my Covenant Fund gift go?

A: The Covenant Fund gifts are used for:

1. Recruiting and retaining the best and brightest faculty/staff to serve our students and families

2. Investing in higher education for our faculty/staff to provide innovative instruction and support

3. Providing financial assistance to families and faculty/staff in need

4. Enhancing school facilities and programming to ensure exceptional offerings

Q: How much am I expected to give?

A: We believe that being a part of a covenant community involves being all in together, valuing 100% participation in the Covenant Fund. We want to encourage EVERY FAMILY to participate EVERY YEAR – and EVERY GIFT counts – regardless of size. Your contribution should be a prayerful decision. We would like 100% participation from our parents as well as school faculty/staff and the School Ministry Team, so any size gift is welcomed and encouraged.

Q: How do I make my gift?

A: The Covenant Fund offers donors several ways to give, including online, text to give, FACTS account (for current families), check, matching gifts, and stock transfers. Scroll up on this page for information and instructions.

Q: Can I designate my gift to a specific area at Perimeter School?

A: We ask that Covenant Fund gifts be undesignated. The administration has identified the primary needs and wants of Perimeter School and has reflected that in the budget, therefore gifts will help fund those first. However, there are requests that are above and beyond what is budgeted. If you have a specific idea that you would like to explore, please contact Missy Terjung at 678.405.2399 or mterjung@perimeter.org.

Q: What is the matching gift program?

A: Many employers have matching gift programs that match your gift with company funds. The Perimeter School Covenant Fund and the GOAL Scholarship Fund both qualify for these matches as an educational institution. Click here to see if your company participates in this program.

Q: Will my gift be tax-deductible?

A: Yes. Perimeter School is a 501(c) 3 not-for profit organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

Q: When should I give?

A: While the Covenant Fund accepts gifts throughout the year, your early gift helps the school with its budgeting and cash flow. All donations for each school year are due by May 31.

Q: Does the Georgia GOAL Scholarship tax credit count as my Covenant Fund gift?

A: No. The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program provides a dollar-for-dollar tax credit to individuals or corporations who donate to scholarship funds earmarked for use by a specific private school. These funds are restricted to be solely used for tuition scholarship needs. Perimeter School must use the money to offer tuition aid to a qualifying student seeking enrollment/re-enrollment. Click here to learn more about the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Fund.

Our desire is that every family participate in the GOAL Scholarship Fund as well as donate to the Covenant Fund in order support the ministry of Perimeter School.
