NEW FAMILY GATHERING

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 23!  We will be having our New Family Gathering, a gathering where you will receive important information to help you and your family prepare to start school on August 11 and have the opportunity to fellowship with other Perimeter School parents. More details to come!

SUMMEr MENTORS

You will soon hear from another Perimeter School family who will welcome you and answer any questions you might have.

Each class will have a get-together the week before school starts in August. This is a chance for students and parents to meet and get to know one another before the school year begins.

TUITION and payments

Watch your inbox for an important email from FACTS Management Company. This will include your tuition and payment schedule for the year. Please check the amounts listed in the email to ensure your billing is correct.

Contact April Barranco with any questions.

Rising Grade Level AND SUMMER INFORMATION

Check your inbox the week of May 26 for our summer email. This email will include important grade level information, summer assignments, school supply lists, and other summer announcements.

School supplies

Order your student's school supplies for next year online. This optional sale will allow you to avoid the end-of-summer shopping frenzy and will benefit our school.

Click here to order (School ID PER014). School supply kits will be shipped to your home. Order by June 17 to ensure delivery before the first day of school.

Please note that not all items on each grade's supply list can be purchased as part of the prepackaged kit. Some items will need to be purchased separately. Check your student's supply list here for these items.

Contact Carolyn Case with any questions.

UNIFORMS

Click here to view the 2025-2026 dress code.

You may order Perimeter School uniforms through Lands’ End.

P.E. uniforms, hooded sweatshirts, and ties/bowties may be purchased through the school webstore.

Check the Perimeter School Covenant Family Facebook page and the Perimeter School Marketplace Facebook page for used uniforms. This is the primary way Perimeter School families buy and sell used uniforms.

LUNCH

Students in grades 3-8 and Adventure should bring their lunches to school.

As optional school fundraisers, pizza will be offered every Tuesday and Chick-fil-A will be offered every Thursday. Order forms will be available later in the summer.

Family Portal

Family Portal is Perimeter School’s secured database, which includes family directories, class information, order forms, student grades, student schedules, and more.

In addition, the Perimeter School app is free to download and allows you to access many features of Family Portal from your device.

Medical Screenings

When your student has a wellness check-up, Perimeter School recommends that you include a vision/hearing screening.

If your child has medication or special medical needs, such as allergies or asthma, please download and complete a copy of the required forms in the medical section of the helpful resources page. You may turn in these forms and any medications to the clinic on the first day of school.

NAME BADGES

As a Perimeter School parent, you are required to wear your name badge whenever you are on campus to identify yourself inside the building.

You will receive your name badge(s) at the New Family Gathering in July. After the event, name badges will be available in the Elementary Office. The Elementary Office will be open on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (closed the week of June 30) during the summer.

Ministry Safe

The care and safety of your covenant child(ren) are of utmost importance to us at Perimeter School. That’s why Perimeter Church has enlisted the help of an organization called Ministry Safe to train all staff and volunteers to protect children. As a parent at Perimeter School, you have committed to being a teacher/volunteer in your child’s class and are required to complete Ministry Safe training. If you receive one or more emails regarding Ministry Safe, please know that each email contains a SEPARATE link for an item that needs to be completed as soon as you are notified.

It is important to note that there are periodic times that parents will need to renew portions of this program, so even if you have completed Ministry Safe training in the past, there may be pieces that need to be updated.

The Ministry Safe program is an ongoing process. Each parent must complete the necessary step(s) once they receive an “Expiring Soon” email. Otherwise, parents will be out of compliance and not be able to participate in school activities involving students.

  • The first day of school will be Monday, August 11. Adventure will begin on this date as well.

  • You can find the most up-to-date calendar information on the school web calendar. The web calendar will be updated throughout the summer, and a printed calendar will be distributed in August.

COMMUNICATION Channels

We desire for all of our Perimeter School parents to feel connected and informed.

An email containing important grade level information, summer assignments, school supply lists, and other summer announcements will be sent the week of May 26.

A back-to-school email will be sent the week of July 21. This email will include specific details for the upcoming year.

During the summer, please feel free to reach out to your summer mentors with any questions.

Every Tuesday during the school year, you will receive the Week at a Glance. This email will include school-wide announcements, important reminders, and a weekly blog to equip and encourage you and your family.

Teachers and room parents will also send emails with class-specific announcements and reminders during the school year whenever necessary, specifically at the beginning of each month to outline classroom serving assignments, field trips, and other important dates.

During the school year, please feel free to reach out to your room parents with any questions.

PARENT SERVING

One of the great joys and benefits of our school is parent involvement. Roles and responsibilities vary in every grade, but you will find that when your years at Perimeter School are over, the opportunity to be in the classroom with your child was one of the greatest blessings!

The week of August 4, you will receive an email outlining the process for signing up for your parent serving responsibilities for the entire school year.

And first and second grade parents get the special blessing of teaching Friday Enrichment Days. There will be a training at the beginning of the school year to help you feel equipped to lead these days. Details about this training will be available later in the summer.

EQUIPPING

At Perimeter School, our purpose is to educate and equip generations of students and families to glorify God and pursue kingdom flourishing.

The Perimeter School blog is a great resource for equipping and encouragement. Perimeter School leaders, teachers, parents, and alumni share timely and invaluable wisdom with our covenant community.

And stay tuned for opportunities throughout the year to be equipped as you fulfill your calling to love, serve, and lead your family.

Honors Reading. Extracurriculars. Other Opportunities.

Honors Reading Information

The Honors Reading Program is an optional program offered to students at Perimeter School in grades 1-8. Students who choose to participate read books from the list of living books for their grade level (or above), keep track of the titles they read, and are given recognition at the end of the school year if they read the number of books that qualifies them for “gold” or “silver” (this number varies by grade level). Click here to learn more about the heart behind this program.

The 2025-2026 Honors Reading lists and instructions will be available later in the summer. If your student would like to get started now, they may use the 2024-2025 lists and instructions found here.

Contact Barbara Beach, Director of Libraries, with any questions.

Drama

The fine arts are a great way for your child to get involved at Perimeter School. While dramatic interpretation, storytelling, poetic interpretation, and class plays are common in our elementary classwork, middle school students have a few more opportunities in the dramatic arts. Perimeter School performs two extracurricular productions each year, which are open to students in grades 5-8 through auditions that take place during in August. Show announcements and audition information will be available later in the summer.

We are also proud to host a chapter of the International Thespian Society. Any middle school student is eligible to join the Junior Thespians through points awarded for participation in extracurricular productions and activities.

Contact Vicky Ryden, Drama Director, with any questions.

Athletics

The mission of Perimeter School Athletics is to create and develop athletes who love strongly, compete fiercely, and work diligently. Our standard-bearer is Jesus Christ, and it is His example that should define all of these traits. Athletic technique and training will be given in a way that prepares students for the high school level, but that concept will come secondary to the strengthening of their identities in Christ. In short, our student-athletes are spiritually strengthened and athletically prepared.

If your grade 5-8 student is interested in Perimeter Athletics for the 2025-2026 school year, click here to fill out the athletics interest form.
