The Impact of a Scholarship

Your support has truly made a difference…

by perimeter School parents

For four decades, Perimeter School has been committed to the belief that the shared, covenantal roles of the home, school, and church together create an ideal atmosphere for educating children. As a covenant school, we endeavor to inspire lifelong learners and kingdom builders in a community where families benefit from intentional involvement in the academics and spiritual maturing of their children and their children’s classmates.

We never want finances to hinder someone from remaining in or becoming a part of our covenant family. As a school community, we believe we serve a generous God, and we want to model that in our lives and our finances to every family, despite income, circumstances, or any other barriers. Perimeter School achieves this through two primary fundraising sources: The Covenant Fund and the Georgia GOAL Program.

Perimeter School parents have shared how these financial assistance programs have impacted their family and allowed them to experience the blessing of our covenant community.

“We are so thankful for the GOAL scholarship to help provide our child with such an excellent education in a precious, Christ-filled community. It was encouraging and a tangible way to experience God’s provision and grace when we received a scholarship in a hard season of life. We couldn’t ask for more than to see our son thriving in school in his first year at Perimeter. We have benefited so much from the GOAL scholarship and plan to contribute to it ourselves so that others may benefit as well.”

“The impact that the GOAL Scholarship has had on our family is tremendous. It has allowed our two oldest boys to have a premier education while also experiencing rich discipleship in Christ. In addition, we have created meaningful relationships that truly reflect what a covenant community of believers should be. This experience is not limited to our sons, but it has also extended to our other five children. Having the ability to attend Perimeter has opened opportunities for our 13-year-old daughter to join Perimeter Ballet, the kids have participated in Camp All American two years in a row, and we’ve attended so many events hosted by Perimeter Church such as Friday Night Blast and Winterfest, which our daughter danced at. While our other kids don’t attend Perimeter, their proximity to the school has also given them greater exposure to God’s unconditional and unfailing love. Being a recipient of the GOAL Scholarship has truly been a blessing. Our family is stronger as a result of this opportunity, and for that, we are forever grateful.”

The GOAL Scholarship has been an incredible blessing to our family during a difficult season. Our youngest child was diagnosed with two rare genetic disorders in 2024 that require ongoing medical care, including weekly specialist appointments, therapies, seizure management, etc. These needs have brought significant financial and emotional strain, especially with only one parent able to work full-time due to caregiving responsibilities. Thanks to the GOAL Scholarship, we’ve been able to keep our child enrolled at Perimeter School - providing stability, quality academics, and Christ-centered community during a time when we’ve needed it most. We’re so thankful for the generosity of those who contribute to the GOAL Fund. Your support has truly made a difference in our lives and the lives of our children.”

“We moved our family from Orlando three years ago and were so warmly received by the Perimeter community that we felt at home in a very short time. The kids were in a PCA covenant school in Orlando, making things feel very seamless. Our move was to pursue the film work I had been doing more and more in the Atlanta area. Things started out very well, but halfway into our second year, the film industry was struck by a combination of writer and actor strikes, as well as company mergers and cancellations that decimated much of the production work in Atlanta. This started to put us in serious financial strain, and we had to use some of our savings to ride out the worst of the slowdown. While cutting back on expenses, we had to take a serious look at whether we could still keep our kids enrolled at Perimeter School. They had gone through a lot of changes and been pulled away from a lot of their known world in Orlando. After much prayer and discussion, we decided to do what we could to keep them enrolled at the school. Because we were transplants and had come in after kindergarten, we did not qualify for the GOAL Scholarship that many families rely on. At that point, someone told us about the Covenant Fund and suggested we apply. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and grace extended to us through this fund. It's allowed us to give our kids stability and a Christian foundation while also keeping them in the community they were deeply rooted in. The school is also our main source of community, and much of our lives here have revolved around the school and church.  It's hard to imagine we would feel as connected and loved if we had gone somewhere else.”
