On Adventure

We rejoice that we are able to plant seeds daily.

By Paul reynolds, adventure program assistant

What do we do all afternoon with the students during the Adventure program? Is it more than playtime? What is our goal?

On adventure

by Paul Reynolds

Every silent prayer, doing our part,

Every time of play, showing the Father’s heart

Every messy craft, reflecting Master’s art

Could there be more there, than eye can see?

Every timely hug, the discouraged to cheer

Every gentle hand, reminds our God is near,

Every Bible story, gospel to little ears;

Could there be more there, than eye can see?

Every prayer aloud, Spirit power today;

Every act of service, shows Jesus’ greatest way;

Every word of praise, brings life from what we say;

Could there be more there, than eye can see?

Every silent line, love neighbor Jesus said;

Every loving correction, putting folly to bed,

Every organized day, a glimpse chaos is dead

Could there be more there, than eye can see?

Every joyful song, lifted to Savior King

Every goofy laugh, given at silly thing,

Every nature walk, lets Creation praise ring,

Could there be more there, than eye can see?

Our Lord says let the, ‘lil children come to me;

Receive it like them, the kingdom you will see;

Children in His arms, He calls us “Follow me”;

Could there be more there, than eye can see?

Yes, there is much more, in heaven we will see

The orchards that came, from just one planted seed

To Him be all praise, growth comes only

From He;

On Adventure with Jesus, that’s where I’m called to be.

It is absolutely our joy, privilege, and calling to join you in your heart’s desire to see your child flourish as a little Jesus follower. We rejoice that we are able to plant seeds daily. We invite you to continue watering at home. And we encourage you to join us in prayer for God to bring the growth. Please consider joining us one Thursday morning this year, 8:15 AM, for Parent Prayer!

“What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.”
(1 Corinthians 3:5-9 NIV)
